I'm glad you've finally got your chooks, I guess we can expect freshly cooked eggs and bacon for brekky when we next come and stay!!
Love that lace work, it is so fine, amazing.

Lorraine

Your daughter's first embroidery efforts are wonderful...and you have a cook in the family as well.....love those vintage embroidery designs..I can remember Mum using those when I was little.....hope the chooks start laying soon...!

Kris Meares (Tag Along Teddies)

Hey Jo! That French lace is GORGOUS!! I'm a sucker for vintage linen, especially if it's embroidered or has the hand made cotton lace. It's so lovely to see both your daughters enjoying some of the 'old fashioned' passtimes - stitching and cooking! And both seem to be very clever at both!! What's wrong with naming your chookies?! They have to know when you're talking to them, right? We used to have chooks when we rented a farm house, but now we're in town the yard isn't big enough ... one day!! Bear Hugs! KRIS

Heidi

Addie and Maddie are adorable! I too dream of owning chickens one day but just cannot where I am now. *sigh* Your vintage items are beautiful and your DD's first embroidery flowers are turning out great.

Hugs ~

Hi Jo,
your finds are gorgeous ~ the door knobs are a real treasure...and the lace is beautiful!
So great that you now have chooks! I hope Maddie & Addie provide many eggs soon (yummo! I love fresh eggs...)
Hugs, Julia

Pina Refat

Hi Jo
A suggestion for those door knobs... screw them onto the wall and hang vintage chic frames from them with ribbon...and those cookies look delious.

Oh wonderful knobs.
They are perfect to screw on to a board, rustic and old looking of course, and use to hang things. But, that would be pretty common.
Let's see. You could make the hanging things, and then hang a big pic from them. That might be different. I like different. =0)

I also really like your blog and so glad i found you.

Blessings,
Barbara Jean

PS I'm having my 200th post giveaway April 15th.
Come on over and join in if you''s like. =0)
