Hello everyone,
I've had a bit of a break from blogging recently, but I'm back and will be posting regularly in the lead up to Christmas. I've been quite busy sewing Christmas gifts for my family, and also a couple of little things for myself! Here are some of the gifts I've finished so far...
These owl bags are for my 4 year-old cousin and my 2 year-old niece. I created the pattern from something I saw earlier this year in a children's store.
These wrap-around tea cosies are for my sister and a good friend of mine, they were really quick to sew and I bought the pattern from Marmalady's Tea. They don't really match the red teapot but it was the only one I had on-hand!
I also undertook a larger project of designing and making a nappy bag for my boyfriend's sister who recently gave birth to her third son. It turned out rather huge, so it might be more of an overnight bag, but hopefully she likes it anyway!
The inside is comprised of 2 main sections separated by a zipped pocket that runs the length of the bag, and each side has a number of box pockets for a phone, wallet, keys and nappies. The folded object on the left is a matching change mat.

You have given a great piece of work. Its been really wonderful out there all those cool and fantastic bags.

You certainly have been busy Hannah. I have finished all my christmas gifts, I have made lots of cross stitch christmas ornaments. I hadn't done cross stitch for years and suddenly had the urge to take it up again. They are all sitting there waiting to be wrapped.
